| Forging ahead… |
 |
August has been yet another busy month as we’ve been to Paris, London and Italy in the space of 5 short days! I was fortunate enough to watch South Africa comprehensively beat Samoa with a few of the Rugby Legends in France, and then onto the latter two destinations to meet various foreign investors.
Good news for Blythedale Coastal Resort is that in August eLan met with the National Land Claims Commissioner and resolution is imminent. A Heads of Agreement is to be signed on my return from overseas. The claim pending over Blythedale Coastal Resort has become a major priority at a national level and will see finality in the next month!
The launch of Royal Jozini in early September has been simply overwhelming. We gladly expand out portfolio of products to offer you developments beyond compare! Situated in one of the most pristine tracts of land, this development is beautifully lifestyle orientated with a strong emphasis on the Big 5. Soak it all up and you enjoy reading more in this month’s newsletter…
Warm regards,

CEO The eLan Group

| Jozini Platinum Launch a worldwide success… |
 |
Royal Jozini Big Six was launched last week to our Platinum Members of the Investor Club with phenomenal success. In simultaneous functions held in Durban, Johannesburg and London, nearly half the development was sold and this is testimony to the incredibly refreshing product that Royal Jozini is.
Purchase options include land on the Waterfront, Bush Camp and Mountain sites. Together with land options, the Moyana Development consists of 20 completed bush lodges each elevated about the ground and interlinked with wooden walkways. Consisting of 3 bedrooms with a central boma area, rim-flow pool and large entertainment deck, there is a strong design philosophy that emulates the creative brief of Royal Jozini.

Platinum Members remember you are still enjoying a
R100 000 discount off all sites on phase 1 and phase 2. Offer ends 20th September 2007.
Gold Members you should have received your invitation to the Gold Launch set for the 20th September. We look forward to seeing you there!

| Special Feature – Moyana |
 |
20 luxurious homes, more than 30 metres apart with wooden elevated walkways joining each private room, floating above the untainted bush, your home is merely an extension of the lush green canopy that surrounds you! As you sit on your deck with the serene chorus of the night and the gentle summer breeze as your only companions, you know you are home, in the warm embrace of this beautiful place, Africa.

| Platinum Members Forum |
 |
In the quest to constantly improve our service to you, our valued Investor club Members, we’d like to start an independent body that represents Platinum Membership. The proposal is to meet quarterly and to chat about current products, update you on upcoming eLan developments and generally get your views on our planned activities. As this would take up an afternoon of your precious time, we will host these workshop sessions on our yacht, the Spirit of eLan, so you get to enjoy an afternoon out at sea at the same time!
Invitation to join the forum close 30 September and we’re looking for 5 members. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to melanie@elan.co.za briefly detailing how you joined as a Platinum Member, and if you have made any purchases through eLan to-date. Please note that unfortunately we can only accommodate Durban based Platinum Members. |

| Simbithi Evening Benefit |
 |
In supporting local charities, Simbithi Eco-Estate recently sponsored a fundraising initiative on the North Coast in aid of Umuzi Wethemba Kwajesu and the North Coast Courier Orphan’s Fund.Providing an evening of entertainment, this year's event attracted many of the prominent people of the North Coast who came not only to enjoy an account of Patricia Glyn’s tale, but also to support a very worthy cause and contribute to making a difference in the area where they live and work.
Patricia Glyn has just launched her book "Footing with Sir Richard's Ghost" and details her epic journey from Durban to Victoria Falls following in the exact footsteps of her great Uncle, Sir Richard George Glen. Patricia is an adventure journalist who has climbed Kilimanjaro twice, attempted Mount Aconcagua, walked 500 kilometres and canoed sections of Africa's biggest rivers!
Umuzi Wethemba Kwajesu is an HIV/AID's centre located in Umhlali that provides a caring service to one of the poorest communities in KwaZulu-Natal. The service includes free HIV testing and counselling, home-based care, education, an HIV Clinic, skills development and support groups.
The North Coast Courier Orphan's Fund directs funds to the gogo's (grannies) and communities that are caring for the orphans and vulnerable children in the area. |
