ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE ROUND UP WEEK 31
BOURNEMOUTH 2 v 1 WEST BROM
Bournemouth virtually sealed West Broms exit from the Premier League, with a home 2-1 victory, Albion is now 10 points from a position of safety with seven games to play, as Bournemouth ended their own four-match winless run. Jay Rodriguez looked to have set up Albion for only a fourth league victory of the season when he spun to hook in Salomon Rondon’s downward header early in the second half, Bournemouth then took control and Jordon Ibe took advantage as he cut in from the left to bounce a shot past keeper Ben Foster from 25 yards, then Stanislas floated a perfect shot over the wall and inside the post from the edge of the area, to secure the three points for the Cherries.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0 V 2 CRYSTAL PALACE
Palace moved out of the Premier League’s relegation zone, with a gutsy performance at Huddersfield. Palace were on top throughout and opened the scoring in the first half through James Tomkins’ close-range effort as Huddersfield failed to deal with Luka Milivojevic’s corner, Palace were awarded a penalty when Huddersfield defender Martin Jorgensen tripped Andros Townsend and Milivojevic converted from the spot, It took the hosts until nine minutes from time for their first effort on target, a tame strike by Rajiv van La Parra which was easy for Wayne Hennessey to gather, Palace moved two places up to 16th, with Town a place further in front but now just three points above the relegation zone.
STOKE CITY 1 V 2 EVERTON
Everton got their first away win in months, as Cenk Tosun scored twice to help the Toffees to victory. Stoke, on the other hand, have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting got Stoke’s consolation goal.

LIVERPOOL 5 V 0 WATFORD
Mohamed Salah scored four goals as Liverpool moved up to third in the Premier League table by annihilating Watford at Anfield. Salah waltzed through Watford’s defence to score early in the game before poking home Andy Robertson’s cross late in the first half. He set up Roberto Firmino’s clever flick for Liverpool’s third, then added two late strikes to complete the rout. Liverpool has now opened a seven-point gap over Chelsea in fifth.
