South Africa recently celebrated Heritage Day, and although many people celebrated with a braai, our country comprises a diverse group of cultures who all celebrate their unique heritage, as well as our shared heritage, in many different ways. However, until recently, the 24th of September was only celebrated in KZN, and known as “Shaka Day”. One thing that is not common knowledge, is that Shaka moved the Zulu capital to KwaDukuza (Stanger) on KZN’s North Coast, a stone’s throw from the current location of Blythedale Coastal Estate.

With that in mind, most of my focus for this newsletter will be centred on Blythedale Coastal Estate and the North Coast of KZN as a whole. Our team has identified ten reasons why buying property on the North Coast is one of the best investment decisions you can make. Also, we highlight some of the property available at our company’s greatest success story so far, Simbithi Eco-Estate. We also discuss a convenient, exciting plot and plan method that will be implemented at Blythedale, as well as the KZN International Investment Drive in the UK, which eLan will be attending.

KZN Trail Running returns to Blythedale as part of their Coastal series. The event is happening on Sunday the 13th of October, so make sure to check out their Facebook page and book your tickets.

Finally, we will be showcasing October’s Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market. The special event on the 6th of October will especially cater for families with young children, and it’s been aptly named Cartoon Carnival. There’s been huge momentum for this on our social media platforms, and we believe it’s set to be the biggest and brightest Market to date.

Kind regards

Mark Taylor
