Spurs to play Monaco on Wednesday in the Champions League game at Wembley Stadium
Spurs are playing all their Champions Legaue games at Wembley this season, whilst the new stadium at White Hart Lane is being built.
The first game at Wembley is on Wednesday against AFC Monaco and to celebrate the games at Wembley, myself, Harry Kane and Eric Dier went along to an autograph signing session with our fans to help promote the Borough of Brent’s health campaigns and it was an opportunity for our many fans in the area to meet their heroes and learn about opportunities to get closer to the Club.
We are delighted to be playing our Champions League home matches at Wembley this season, a stadium synonymous with some of the most famous moments in the Club’s history. Given the Borough of Brent is becoming our temporary home, it is important for us as a Club to engage with the local community as we do in Tottenham and we aim to use our unique appeal as a football club to promote healthy lifestyles amongst residents through the ‘My Heart Beats for Brent’ campaign.
It was an excellent event, with the three of us, signing autographs for over two hours in the lovely London Sunshine, let’s hope the sun shines on the team on Wednesday night against Monaco.
