2019 February Newsletter
Message from the CEO
Election date was recently announced as the 8th of May. South Africans are unsure about exactly what to expect in the near future, and what elections will bring with them. Fortunately for investors looking for good property investments, the North Coast is still very buoyant, with property experts predicting that the market will remain bullish. This region offers good property value and stable investments in an uncertain economic environment.
We all breathed a collective sigh of relief when load shedding was recently suspended. Eskom hasn’t been everybody’s favourite SOE lately, but eLan has solutions for this in our current and future developments. Smart Green Technology at Blythedale will provide an off-the-grid, green solution to meet residents’ power and water needs; removing reliance on existing infrastructure that isn’t coping.
What a success the Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market has been in attracting people to the site. People now have an immediate chance to easily view the majesty of Blythedale for themselves. I’m looking forward to the free Andrew Young Concert and Gin Experience this weekend, and we’re expecting a massive turnout. See you there!
We’re hoping to announce details of our project in Mauritius soon, but we’re also very excited about our upcoming Invest Mauritius Roadshow in Dubai, London, and SA. It starts on the 25th of March, with details to be announced shortly.
Finally, eLan Property Group is also very proud to be one of the sponsors of Super Sokkie with Kurt Darren. This brilliant Afrikaans music festival takes place on the MSC Musica, from the 8th – 11th of March. I hope to see many of you there, it’s certain to be a great cruise.
