eLan actively involved in SA Sports Development

eLan Property Group continues to remain actively involved in Sports Development.

We recently sponsored the Kwazulu-Natal Golf Union in conjunction with Game On which supports many young up and coming amateur golf players and gives them the platform to develop their careers on the golf course. Thanks to Colin and Neil as well as the KZN Golf Union for appreciating our participation. Andrew Thompson, eLan Development and Sales Director, shared the focus on upliftment within eLan developments and in particular the hype around the launch of Blythedale Coastal Resort taking place on the 28th of October.  John Allan from Game On, took this opportunity to educate the crowd on the up and coming launch of Game On taking place at Greyville Convention Centre on the 17th of September 2015.

We are also actively involved in Liverpool International Football academy. As you may know, Liverpool Academy Programmes have launched in both Durban and Johannesburg (Two of SA’s major cities) and are home to soccer schools that offer the option of either two or three weekly training sessions, with fixtures against local clubs.  Coaches trained by Liverpool FC use age-specific coaching sessions to hone the technical, tactical and social skills of boys and girls, in the Under 5 – Under 16 age groups. The primary objective of these sessions is to ensure that players develop new international soccer techniques that will help each and every one become a better footballer. The schools provide a year-round opportunity for South African youngsters to learn from the coaching practices taught to the likes of Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling.

You will find the Liverpool academy in Durban at Danville Park, Virginia and in Johannesburg at Jeppe Quondam Sports Club, Bedfordview. If you would like to join the Liverpool Academy visit http://ow.ly/QTOGN to book your training sessions. Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting news coming up soon!
