As most of you may have heard or even attended, eLan Property Group brought back the style at the prestigious eLan Gold Cup hosted at Greyville Convention Centre and Racecourse. The original date set for the eLan Gold Cup was the 25th of July but due to bad weather conditions in Durban over that weekend, the event was postponed to the 1st of August. Nonetheless, all who attended had a fun day full of entertainment with VIP lounges, great balcony views of Durban Skyline, live entertainment throughout the day and a whole lot more. We also ensured Marquees were set out for charities such as SARDA Durban branch, Child Welfare Chatsworth, Rotary Club of High Noon and more.
Well done to this year’s winner of the main race, Wild One and jockey Anthony Delpech. Many will agree that it was a masterly training feat by Mike de Kock.
eLan Property Group and the Greyville Convention Centre joined forces recently as eLan spotted the need in the South African events market. With the Classic room being fully occupied and the Silver Ring room balcony on looking the race course and Durban city on the night of the Gold Cup, we can safely term the evening a ‘success’ and in saying that we look forward to hosting the eLan Gold Cup in 2016 and taking the event to new heights and prestige.
The Blythedale Coastal Resort land giveaway by Mark Taylor, CEO of eLan Property Group, worth R700 000 took place in the Greyville Convention Centre’s Classic room at the eLan Gold Cup. Lucky winner, Praga Naina from Johannesburg was ecstatic as he walked away with an investment on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast.
