On the banks of the Tugela River lies an existing residential neighbourhood comprising some 250 stand-alone freehold houses of which 150 are owned by SAPPI.
The developers aim is to offer a safe lifestyle with a strong sense of community, which will comprise of an already existing 9-hole golf course with eighteen tee boxes, a family-friendly events centre, bar, restaurant, gatehouse, 24-hour security and electrified fencing extending around the entire estate which residents and tenants will be able to make use of.
The exciting proposed development plans within Jackalberry Estate have the ability to offer great benefits to both the local residents and foreigners with an increase in the value of properties and rentals and as a whole offering, a much needed boost to the profile, infrastructure and investment into Mandeni. The ability to attract more retail, more light industrial, additional schools and further quality infrastructure is key to energising the local entrepreneur to further ply their trade.
The development is in the progress of breaking ground as the first 100m fence line on the southern side of the estate is being built.
The developers look forward to creating a secure lifestyle for Jackalberry Estate’s residents.
