The establishment of Jackalberry Estate, Mandeni’s first ever gated estate, is one step closer to reality following the official ribbon cutting ceremony by Mandeni Mayor Sipheshihle Zulu, Naresh Naidoo, Tugela Mill General Manager and Mark Taylor eLan CEO.
Tugela Mill Human Resources Manager, Danie Kolver says, “This joint venture with the eLan Property Group is an ideal opportunity for investors and current homeowners to secure property in South Africa’s first entry level secure estate.”
Jackalberry Estate found inland on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, located near Tugela Mouth and Zinkwazi beach is one of South Africa’s first entry level secure estates which is currently taking shape as exciting improvements on the estate are underway. With 385 houses on offer, property prices range from R450 000 to R1 000 000 for the larger homes facing the golf course and the Tugela River.
Almost 1.4Km of land has already been cleared for the erection of the boundary fence and 930m already erected. The surveying is currently taking place from 77 Anderson Road down to Stratton Circle. The fence line will be completed to the side of the road and the construction being done on the existing properties will soon begin without any form of disruption, including interruption to traffic flow. The proposed gatehouse should be completed in the next 6 months which will start giving the estate an identity of its own.
