Trail run, Tug of war, Zumba and more!
eLan Annual Family Fun Day was hosted at Simbithi Eco-Estate in Ballito on Heritage Day, Saturday 24 September this year. The action packed day was enjoyed by all with Blythedale Coastal Resort’s, Development Director, Andrew Thompson as MC.
There was a variety of entertainment and attractions at the event, including an eco-challenge along some of the trails through the estate, a pleasant 3km trail which was enjoyed mostly by the young and elderly alike, a 5km trail for the more adventurous and a 10km trail for the cross country enthusiast. Prizes for the challenges included accommodation at any Southern Sun resort, a charter on the Spirit of eLan and accommodation at Sierra Family Adventure Resort to name a few.
Residents were in awe of the Sugar Dance and Ribbon Performances. An assortment of games and activities were enjoyed by both the kiddies and adults on the day, including Tug of War, Zumba with Curves Salt Rock, bungee trampolines, Swing Carousel, Soft play area for toddlers and much more! To end off the wonderful day, the beautiful Miss eLan 2016 was crowned.
eLan Property Group would like to thank all who attended as well as the sponsors and Simbithi Home Owners Association for allowing us to use the facilities at Simbithi Eco-Estate. Simbithi Residents, we urge you not to miss out on next year’s event!
